Counselling for Anxiety and Depression Maleny QLD Australia
Racing heartbeats, intrusive thoughts, the constant worry, loss of focus?
Josie Coco - Maleny
How many counselling sessions will I need?
Josie supports clients from the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and further afield with anxiety and depression:-
How many sessions you will need is always a very tricky question to answer. In Josie's experience there is such a variation in the reasons for anxiety and/or depression, and just as many ways that people express these states that it really is just a guess to say that you might need anywhere between 8 and 24 sessions.
Anxiety and depression usually don't develop overnight. Rather they are conditions that have been brewing for some time. It makes sense then to expect that these conditions may take time to resolve.
If you can be encouraged to approach your therapy as a pathway to recover that can be achieved over time, you will have greater success in the long-term.

We hope you reach out for the sort of support that you need.
What are the signs of anxiety and depression?
Let's begin with anxiety:

In a world that constantly buzzes with demands and uncertainties, anxiety can creep into our lives like an uninvited guest. The racing heartbeats, the intrusive thoughts, the constant worry – it's an experience that millions can relate to. But what if there was a way to face anxiety head-on, to understand it deeply, and ultimately, to find solace?
Anxiety is more than just a feeling; it's a complex interplay of thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
